Established in late 2023, Lab of Future Technology (LFT) is a key platform dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship education at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). Equipped with world-class research facilities and advanced experimental spaces, LFT covers cutting-edge fields such as autonomous robotics, advanced materials, intelligent manufacturing, smart sensing, and health technologies.

As the primary research base for faculty members from the College of Future Technology (CFT) conducting Pillar Projects, LFT provides substantial support for the teaching and research activities of the Redbird MPhil (RBM) program, exemplifying a seamless integration of high-level academic research with practical applications.
