OverView

The Red Bird Maker Space is a practical platform built by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) for integrating interdisciplinary project-based teaching. It consists of three classrooms and five workshops, with a total area of over 9200 ㎡, accommodating approximately 800 students for practical teaching.

The Red Bird Maker Space seamlessly integrates project-based learning with experimental teaching, providing students with an open learning space and a variety of advanced equipment. It encourages students to collaborate across disciplines, sparking new ideas through communication and inspiring creativity through practice. It aims to guide students to deepen their learning through practical experience and cultivate original innovative thinking and abilities in the process.

Workshop

The Red Bird Maker Space workshops are designed for project-based experimental teaching, following the philosophy of "learning by doing" and "applying knowledge in practice". It aims to establish an engineering challenge center that integrates learning, practice, and skill development.
