Introduction of Red Bird MPhil Program

The Red Bird MPhil Program is a Master of Philosophy Program designed by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) to achieve the goal of cultivating "Compound innovative and entrepreneurial talents". The program explores a student-centered interdisciplinary education paradigm through guided learning, creating an optimal growth environment for future strategic engineers and scientists to discover themselves, unleash their potential, and continuously improve their abilities.

Pathways of RBM
Graduates

On completion of the RBM study successfully, students will greatly benefit in developing their future careers, whether they pursue doctoral degrees, work in prestigious companies, or becoming an entrepreneur.

  • 1st Advantage: Students apply for PhD program under the supervision of MPhil supervisors or other professors in HKUST and HKUST(GZ).
  • 2nd Advantage: Students apply for internship or jobs under the guidance of project supervisors or industrial advisors.
  • 3rd Advantage: Students can kick off their start-ups with the supports from HKUST(GZ) or HKUST (like, the GD, HK & Macao (International) Youth Entrepreneur Hub).
